what’s it like

We are a small town design studio with big city talent. Our team is dedicated to designing the best solutions for our clients and being their first choice. When they succeed, we succeed. Our clients run the gamut of industries so there is always something new and interesting to create around food, beverage, contractors, dispensaries, professional services, education, athletics, community building and non-profit organizations. Seven13 specializes in branding and logo development. We also build upon that foundation with printed pieces such as marketing materials, apparel, packaging, signage, vehicle graphics, trade show displays, and more! It doesn’t stop at print. We create for web with online graphics, social media management and WordPress websites.

Our studio is located in downtown Roseburg, Oregon within walking distance to some of the area’s best restaurants and shops. Our creative workspace is open concept and we share the space with a few cowork members. We work hard and don’t compromise quality but also know the importance of being flexible with our staff, such as celebrating wins and having fun. We regularly have studio food days, support our community and take field trips.

Associate Graphic Designer

Work Location: Roseburg, Oregon – In person
Job Type: Full-time (30-40 hr/week)
Pay: $18.00-24.00 per hour

The Job

We are looking to hire a full-time, on-site Associate Graphic Designer. (If you are looking for remote employment, we may have opportunities for contracted designers as a per project basis. Connect with us separately.) As a part of a small team, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling graphics, designing logos, developing branding materials, layout and working with typography. We all wear several hats, so we really appreciate initiative when something needs addressing outside standard roles. The studio day-to-day includes managing your open projects, collaborating with our team, meeting and corresponding with clients, meeting deadlines and preparing deliverables. We design with Adobe Creative Suite, manage projects with Slack and track time with Toggl.

Tech Stuff

  • Mac OS computer skills required
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) is required
  • Slack experience is a plus
  • Ability to collect, organize, maintain and prepare creative assets to store internally and to distribute to clients
  • Prepare files for output according to vendor print specs and templates
  • Knowledge of WordPress, web design and user experience is a plus

Salaries & Benefits

This position is hourly and pay range is $18-24hr depending on experience. Contract arrangement could be discussed.
